The Gembrook Community Centre is set in the picturesque town of Gembrook. It is only a short drive from most Eastern and South Eastern suburbs and is well serviced with B&B's and local eateries.

 

Today, the Gembrook Community Centre also attracts visitors from across the Eastern and South Eastern suburbs, Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley as its function hall is one of the largest in the district.

 

For more than 85 years, Gembrook has benefited from a hall or community centre being an integral part of Community life.

 

This Council owned facility has expanded to accomodate the growing local community with an extension and renovation completed in 2009. It is managed by a dedicated committee of local residents.

 

Used by a range of community groups, it is home to a playgroup, indoor bowls and senior citizen clubs, yoga groups, fitness classes, dance groups, taekwondo classes, singing group, patchwork/quilting group, as well as a range of other activities.
